Imo over half don't even count. You go to members n hundreds are made up names waiting to be validated. How can you honestly count them? Cheating if you ask me. Don't get me wrong I like this site but be honest.

Bruner you are such a goof. We aren't cheating....the stats of people that come to the site are posted at the bottom of the first page for all to see. 1000 members was just the number of accounts that have been created,,,,and really does show how many visitors have at least shown enough interest in the site to create an account. Sure some of those are not active members but who cares....we are a new community...and the growth has been pretty remarkable.

You just need to relax a little dude.

Oh I'm relaxed,& I do notice all that visit each day(for good reason)(its great site) but the 400accounts np3 created shouldn't count. The waiting to validate profiles should be erased.

LOL. Bruner's not gonna celebrate 1000 users until we hit about 5000 users.

Go to members section. There's more waiting to be validated than that have been. What's that look like to new members or guests? Oh well most the regulars are active daily

and looking at the names and dates on the "validating" ones tells me they are mostly spam bots. Would be cool to have them cleaned out and have a actual number even if just for a day.

I've got several scaley and a couple scaleless creatures living in glass houses full of water in the other room.

Wouldn't it look better if most of the members were actually active than 50-75% non-active,waiting to validate & only a small % actually active? I'm just sayn, its your world I'm just in it. Figured other members have noticed too,so I brought it up.

^^^ All forums are like that. It's just a fact of internet life. If sites have 25% of the members active it's a wild success.
If nobody came back from the future to stop you, it wasn't that bad of a decision.

What I'm sayn if they deleted the bs all that's left is us. The true active members. Some are more active than others but the members list is members not mostly filled with bs spam. Hell if nobody else cares idgaf either.

yeh no one cares. every forum is like this. to be honest though we are doing very well for a forum which is less than a year old.

take fury, 46000+ members, barely scraping 10 posts per day. sure alot of our 1000 members are spam accounts, or people who didn't bother validating. but we are very active, lots of new posts and threads every day. huge achievement for a young forum. put away your grumpy hat and have a drink :)

Approximately 75% of the accounts are validating but the good news is the members we do have are active

The quality and quantity of posts are far more important than the quantity of users we have.
